After the first two episodes, the series dives into a new mission of the week formula which can be repetitive if you don't put attention to the bigger story, which only works how it should at the last few episodes.

The first season has introduced lots of new characters, but has not fleshed them out. The acting has been sub-par. The dialogue is often wooden and the characters are not very well-developed. The show has a lot of potential, but it needs to improve its writing and acting in order to reach its full potential. The series does start picking up speed at the end and some big changes happen to the cast and also the show's format. Overall, the first season has been a mixed bag of episodes. Some have been really strong, while others have been rather weak. The premiere is definitely a must-watch and there are several strong episodes throughout the season that focus on character growth and development. The story arcs are interesting and the characters are likable, so I'm definitely looking forward to watching more. Especially in light of the cliffhanger Season 1 ended on and the show's cancellation shortly after that.
